Wohoo... Its being a long time since I've updated this blog. Even when its holiday to me. It seem that I became more busy rather than relax. My first task is to launch my eBay store. I took about a whole week to get it up and running. Its being a week now. Sales look pretty good. Not bad, for not doing any work and having a monthly passive income of US$300 : D

Next, I decided to start learning to invest. Even though the legal age to start trading is 21, its no harm starting to learn ; ) Bought a few books on investing and even a book on accounting.

....
...
..
.
For those who wants to know the secret... there's actually no secret. Get off your fear and start investing. Let your assets grow. That's the only way : D

I have kept lots of readers in suspense. Many of which kept pestering me for an answer. Alright, here it is...
-
In the previous post, I make my point that most people is following the script, thinking that it will make them rich. Most of them thought that getting more pay will solve their problem. Unless you know how to save money earnestly or listen to my advice, you will be trapped in the "Rat Race".
-
Escaping from the "Rat Race" basically means becoming financially free. Here's a made-up story of a person being trapped in a "Rat Race". Zack, is a person who spend his life in search of freedom, but wind up instead going to job to job. He is ecstatic because he has found the company of his dreams, again. He loves his work, he has an important title, the pay is great, the peoples are great, the benefits are great, and his chances for promotion are great. About half a year later, Zack became dissatisfied. The company he works for now is corrupt and dishonest, in his opinion; it doesn't treats its workers with respect; he hates his boss; he was passed over for a promotion, and they don't pay him enough. Six months goby and he's now happy again. He's ecstatic because he found the perfect job... again.
-
His life path looks something like a dog chasing its tail. His life pattern is going from job to job. So far, he lives well because he is smart, attractive and personable. But the years are catchingup with him, and younger people are now getting jobs he used to get. He has a few thousand dollars in savings, nothing set aside for retirement, a house he will never own, child support payments, and college yet to pay for. His youngest child, 8, lives with his ex wife and his older child, 14 lives with him.
-
He used to say, " I don't have to worry, I'm still young. I have time." I wonder if he is able to say this now.
-
A new attitude and a new education process needs to begin. Unless he get lucky and win the lottery, or find a rich woman to marry, he is on a course of working hard for the rest of his life.
-
Look like I'm still have not reveal the secret. Since so many of you are eager to know. I will only tell you when you ask me... Lol... or else, wait till next post. Hint, its what I am doing now : D

School is reopening and i have yet to set everything to automated. The current system I'm testing is really successful. I have calculated in 5 days, I have amount to US$320. That's about S$500! Each day average is about S$100. Much better finding a part-time job : D In fact, the hour I "work" is less than 3 hours a day(that's about S$33/hr of "hard work"). For the rest of the time, I've spent surfing the net, chatting and just having fun while waiting for orders to come in.

In 1989, the berlin Wall came down. in history of the world, that was one of the most important events. More than signifying the failure of communism, in my opinion, that event marked the official end of the Industrial Age and the beginning of the Information Age.
-
The voyage of Columbusin 1492 roughly coincides with the start of the Industrial Age. The fall of the wall of Berlinmarked the end of the age. That change already threatened the financial security of hundreds of million people, most of whom are not yet aware of the financial impact of that change and many of whom cannot afford it. The change is found in the different between the change of the different pension plan of the Industrial and Information Age.
-
We are now living in the Information Age, unless you have already retire with a huge sum of money to provide you with food and shelter for the rest of your life, you will not be able to escape the financial wave. Basically, the pension plan of the Industrial Age is, you work for the company until you retired and the company provide you with pension for the rest of your life.
-
However, in the Information Age, we don't adopt this pension plan anymore. E.g. Singapore, the goverment now provide a compulsory saving plan, the CPF. How much do you have in your CPF? With the increase of life expentancy, chances are, you will finish the saving before you die(what a crude word).
-
People are following the same financial script over and over again.
-
The child goes to school, graduates, finds a job and soon has some money to spend. This is what education taught us, get good grades, find high-paying job. Full stop. Thats it. Did it ever teach you the what happen after this? No! Read on... I'm sure you will be very familiar with the scenario... The young adult now can afford to rent/buy a new apartment, buy a TV set, new clothes, some furnitures, and of course a car. And now the bills begin to come in. One day, the adult meets someone special, sparks fly, they fall in love and get married. For a while, life is blissful because two can afford as cheaply as one. They now have two incomes, and they can afford to set a few dollars for a new dream house. They find their dream home, pull the money from savings and use it for a down payment on the house, and they now have a mortgage. Because of their new house, they need new furnishings, so they find a furniture store that advertises those magic works, "no money down, easy monthly payments."
-
Life is wonderful, and they throw a party to have all their friens to see their new house, new cars, new furnitures, and new toys, They are now deeply in debt for the rest of their lives. Then, the first child arrives.
-
The average well-educated, hard-working couple, after dropping the child off at nursery, must now put their nose to the grindstone and go to work. They became trapped by the need for job security simply becasue, on average, they are less than three months away from financial bankruptcy. From these people, you ofter hear, "I can't afford to quit. I have bills to pay."
-
Solution? I will tell you in my next post :P

Here's a brief summary of what a person I am like. I'm a self-employed type of people.
-
Self-employed people are often hard-core "perfectionists". They often want to do something exceptionally well. In their mind, they do not think anyone else does it better than they can do it, so they really do not trust anyone esle to do it the way they like it... the way they think is the "right way". In many respects, they are true artists with their own style and methods of doing things.
-
For this group, money is not the most important thing about their work. Their independence, the freedom to do things their way, and to be respected as experts in their field, are much more important than mere money. It is best to tell them what have to be done and then leave them alone to do it. They do not need or want supervision. If ou meddle too much, they'll simply walk away. The money really does not come first, their independence is.

Recently, I have went deeper into the aspect of eBay and began selling some stuff.
I made a US$150 in a matter of few days just by listing one product. I have alot more product in my inventory. Mostly Webmaster tools, like template, script, ebooks, etc. Digital product is really a lucrative niche and is free to deplicate. Of course, i only sell stuf that conatin resell right sor else you will really get into deep trouble with the law.
-
I made alot of decision at this period of time. I was telling myself... you have to finally get out of the comfort zone. No point wasting alot of effort when you can do the same thing with min effort. I rent an eBay store, registered 2 domains and bought a hosting plan. Cost me a small fortune but I'm sure it will pay off soon.

Bye, signing off : D

The deeper I went into this whole internet business thingie, the more commited and motivated I became. I believe I can make it. The downfall for many people wanting to get rich in the internet is that they believe making money in the internet is easy, the fact is that it is not. Moreover, many invested alot of money to sites or buying programs which mostly is useless... There's a saying I saw in my search of the ultimate online money making opportunity which goes like this: "Here's how to get rich quick: pretend you've already done it, and sell others your 'secret'." I totally agree with it. I've seen so many "proven" methods. To be honest, no one will sell you their real secret, even if they do, it's really the basic. Everyone need to learn the hard way, from experience.

Starting with zero funds, I need to make any money I spent worthwhile. Even till now I haven even register for a domain. Everything I used is free. :/

Up till now, I've looked intoa couple of topics. Google Adsense and Adwords, Ebay, Ezines advertising Affiliate programs are probably the only few system that really works, credible and are highly recommended by me. As for other money making opportunity, like pay to read email, to surf, take survey and other downline referring program, they suck man~! Trust me, you will; never make any decent amount of money.

When you try out the few system I mention above, don't go into it immediately, take time to learn more about it. You can do this by reading forums, or investing in quality books. Many people had bad experience or just don't have the patient that they were fixed with the mindframe that you can never make money from the internet.

I will prove that mindst wrong, just you wait, I will do it : )

It has being a while now since I updated my pilot's log. I have spent yet another week researching, and testing out the various strategies. I will report what I have found out.
-
AdWords rulez. Use AdWords to advertise affiliate program. Get trustworthy wholesale dropshipper. Sell their products on Ebay. That's the long term goal.
-
For a short term goal, I decided that I can make use of the upcomming Playstation 3 to make a pile. If I can become a affiliate members of a company that is recieving pre-order of Playstation 3
. I will make use of the high demand and low competition of AdWords. To succeed in this field, one need to be able to see the trend and quickly react in order to keep up.
